INFOTAINMENT:
It means turning hard information into compelling entertainment. Also known as the "spoonful of sugar" approach. RRP has specialized in Infotainment since its inception and has built its reputation on creating infotainment with flair, imagination and humor while maintaining the integrity of the subject matter.
FILM AND VIDEO:
RRP's recently completed 47 minute historical documentary George Washington's Home Town is the pilot episode of the new series Miss Betty's Story Of America and was awarded the top prize at the Alexandria International Film Festival. It is currently available through Netflex, Library Video Company, Instructional Video, Inc. and Passion River Films. Episodes two through seven of the series are now in production.
RRP programs have appeared on ESPN, HBO, Cinemax, BBC and in syndication, and include the outdoor-adventure theatrical feature Don't Change My World. As for corporate film and video, Revlon, IBM and Delta Airlines are among RRP's diverse corporate client list.
RRP collaborated with producer Hugh Morton on a series of wildlife and sports programs that have received seven Golden Eagle Awards from the Council on International Non-theatrical Events (C.I.N.E.) for documentary filmmaking. These films were selected to represent the USA in international motion picture events abroad. Among them are The Black Bear, Hang Gliding Around the World, and The Hawk and John McNeely, which was also awarded Grand Prize in the International Real Life Adventure Film Festival in Italy.
TRADE SHOWS AND CORPORATE THEATRE:
Because of its skill in the infotainment format RRP has been called upon to create live productions for trade shows and corporate meetings. Many of these were major theatrical events involving ensemble casts, costumes and sets, A/V and original music. Of particular note was a musical comedy production for a multi-national audience staged on the Italian Riviera. Clients include Georgia-Pacific, Coca-Cola USA, Domino's Pizza and IBM.
LEGITIMATE THEATRE:
RRP's three act WWII dramedy Letters From the Front hit the stage in 1991 scheduled for a three week run. Instead it ran for 15 years, completing 15 stateside and four overseas tours. In 2005 it became the first professional theatrical production to play at the Pentagon. A revival is currently in development.
EXPERIENCE COUNTS:
Nothing can replace it and it cannot be faked. RRP's depth of knowledge and skill in virtually every media format has been achieved through decades of dynamic, entertaining productions marketed in national as well as international arenas. RRP combines thorough research with character driven storytelling, a clear vision and first class production values to deliver a finished product that is both effective and engaging.
